1. Information You Will Need

Before registering a complaint, ensure you have these details ready:

  • The 13-digit Consignment Number.(This number will be sent to your mobile via SMS or to your email ID. Similarly, there will be a tracking number on your receipt)
  • Date of booking and destination PIN code.
  • A clear photo or scan of your booking receipt.
Tip: Complaints for Speed Post can be registered within 60 days from the date of booking.

2. Online Complaint Process (तक्रार करण्याची पद्धत)

STEP 01 Visit India Post Website Step 1

Go to the official website of India Post and click on Register Complaint.

STEP 02 Enter Consignment Details Step 2

Enter all the information you need to enter here, including the tracking number received via SMS or email on your mobile.

STEP 03 Fill Sender & Receiver Address Step 3

Fill in your details as well as the details of the person to whom the parcel is sent. Make sure that their mobile number and PIN code are correct.

STEP 04 Get Complaint ID Step 4

After registering a complaint with India Post, you are given a complaint ID, using which you can track your complaint.

3. Speed Post Compensation Policy

If your India Post parcel gets lost or is delayed due to any reason, then Indian Post will compensate you.
